Why our Forum is black and red

Alright...I admit it, I am selfish.........


The reason our forum is black and red and not some cool looking forum is rather simple. Most of you know I am a private police officer, so I have a laptop in the car with me. I can view the internet and such as I have a sprint mobile broadband card, and most of you have talked to me on Ventrilo while I am at work.

Because I like to keep up to date with the forum and try to fix any issues when I can, I keep the forum up. With the screen brightness turned down, the Red and Black colors of the forum allows me to view the web page while sitting in the car without sending a bunch of light out of the car.

It is the same princible as why police cruisers have a red light inside of them, so they can view things without

A) Giving away their position
and
B) Without ruining our night vision.



So....there is your reasoning, for anyone who wonders why the forum looks the way it does....

I actually like the colors! Im very photosensitive so I keep the backlight on my lappy almost all the way down, and I like that I dont have to turn it up for this site!
